QT prolongation: can occur with the combination of Zithromax and Celexa (citalopram). Having a pacemaker may prevent serious arrhythmia. The downside is increased use of the demand pacemaker leading to some additional battery drain. The other issue is that the pacemaker does not protect you from seizures that may occur with this combination. Best discuss this with your doctor.
