I've had laryngitis for four days. does gargling with saltwater help? does flovent 110 make it worse? it's making my allergies act up in the evening.

Need examination: Saline might be soothing, so continue. Not sure it shortens the illness. Tough call on the Flovent; it reliably causes hoarseness at high doses directly and indirectly (favoring yeast/oral Candidiasis), yet can help associated asthmatic bronchitis. Prob wouldn't make allergies worse; could that be post-nasal drip from laryngitis? Absess? GERD?What about strep? Better get checked out.
