Pick one: You might just have to pick the physician you are comfortable with. The risk, as you have found out, of getting a second opinion is what to do if they say different things. Ultimately the diagnosis of whether or not you have spasms in your back is not real critical. The bigger question is if the pain persists, then is there an underlying cause. In those cases an MRI can be helpful.
