A member asked:

I received pneumonia shot and my arm and left side hurt and are numb. is it ok to take blood pressure medicine? should i avoid medications?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Ok: That's a normal reaction. You can treat it with acetaminophen (Tylenol), ibuprofen (Advil/Motrin) or naproxen (Aleve/Naprosyn). It will subside in a day or a few days. Meanwhile, definitely take your BP medicine!
