Nasal ulcer: You may have sore inside the nostril which is usually painful, keeping it moist and clean helps for healing. Sometimes it is infected and needs antibiotic treatment. If it does not get better on its own in few days see your doctor for culture and antibiotic

Self help: the inside of your nose is lined with little hairs that filter the trash out of the air you breath. Unfortunately that dirt can act as an irritant to the skin in your nose and cause mild infections. mild but painful. I would reccomend using an antibiotic OINTMENT not cream. That will help it stay mosit and may slow the infection enough that the body will knock it out quickly.
