Yes: The eyes try to maintain the same image in both eyes. The tumor in one occulomotor nerve does not effect the function directly. But the other muscles in the eye will accomodate to prevent double vision. Can some times lead to headaches. Your neuroophthalmologist may recomment corrective glasses with prisms.

Nucleus or Nerve? : Meningiomas are benign tumors that can occur in the brain. They are locally invasive. Involvement of the oculomotor nucleus within the brainstem would likely affect both eyes. A lesion outside the brainstem along the route of the third nerve would affect only one eye. A neuro-ophthalmic examination would be helpful as would an MRI scan.

No: The meningioma will affect the eye that it is on. It will affect how you eyes will work together though. If you have a muscle weakness you will have double vision in certain directions of gaze.

No: Your menigioma is likely compressing one of the oculomotor nerves, therefore causing symptoms only on the side of the tumor. The weakness is due to the compression of the tumor against the nerve. Hopefully this will remain minimal.
