A member asked:

How should i ask my doctor about something that may be in my ear, like i don't know if there is or not, i'm embarrassed to ask my doctor to look.

Don't worry : When I was in training many years ago, we saw many patients with stuff in their ears. They too felt embarrassed, but they were instantly at ease to know it was a common issue. Your primary care provider is a good place to start, but it may require a referral to an ENT specialist. It is very important to sort out. Hope this helps!
