Not necessarily bad: Ear wax that has been exposed to shampoo or watery soap will often turn gritty & white. So this could be what has happened. An ear infection could also produce whitish debris but would be rare at that age.As long as baby is acting normally, i'd scoop out what material i could get with my fingernail & jut watch it. It can wait until his doc is available.
