Rogaine (minoxidil) for hairloss: Hair dryness and scalp itching can be caused by some formulations containing minixodil (Rogaine). If you are using the liquid dropper version, you might try using the foam version, which seems to have fewer scalp effects. Remember, avoid getting it ON your hair, because that can cause the dryness you describe. Apply it ONLY to the scalp, and allow it to dry completely before styling your hair.
