Doubt it.: I doubt very much that either the black spots or the hair loss are due to rogaine (minoxidil) -- but i'm not sure what you mean by "black spots". Are they little black dots, about the width of a hair shaft? If so, you could have a fungus infection. Is the hair loss uniform or patchy? In short, you should see a dermatologist for a precise diagnosis and proper treatment.
