Sovaldi: Sovaldi, in conjunction with ribavirin, is effective in treating hepatitis C genotype 3. Sustained response rates have been reported ranging from 60 to 93%, depending on whether you have had previous treatment attempts and whether or not you already have cirrhosis. The usual treatment length with type 3 is 24 weeks. There are very few side effects. I would recommend getting an evaluation!
