Hep c: Do you have to be on treatment now? By the end of this year ribaviran will most likely no longer be used to treat hep vc. Treatments will be more effective and shorter in duration. Ribaviran is not directly active against hep c like sofosbuvir and the other amazing drugs coming this year.
