Great question: I am assuming your procedure was done to help with joint alignment at the hip. It must've been successful if your surgeon was able to remove the screws. That you have not needed a hip replacement at this point is very good. Be sure to discuss your concerns with orthopedic surgeon as to the strength of your hip joint and any increased risk for arthritis of the joint later in life. Best of luck
