Heart dz diet: diet usually can only reduce the bad cholesterol at most by 10%. You want to reduce saturated fat and increase mono and polyunsaturated fats. Eat only lean meats and increase vegetable intake. We care about cholesterol because of its association with heart dz. There are some advocates which recommend low fat vegan diets. Check out Esselstyn diet on google. This is an extreme approach.
