Undo braids: You must undo your braids for the present time and allow the skin tissues to heal. The tight braids decrease your skin circulation and often allow skin infections to develop. Please undo your braids and massage your scalp with a mild shampoo. If you see any infections, you need to see a physician to treat them. Good luck.

Let it heal: You may leave these alone. If there is any indication of infection you may apply an antibiotic ointment available over the counter, e.g neosporin ointment.
