Has anyone had the medtronic core valve implanted who live in the us?

No experience: As a family physician, I have not had any patients who have undergone this treatment. The procedure received accelerated FDA approval last June 2014, and seems promising especially for patients considered poor candidates for surgical intervention. I recommend you discuss this with a cardiovascular surgeon. Hope that helps.

Mt Sinai - NY City: Drs Samin Sharma and David Adams co-directed the study which introduced the Core Valve to the US. They have a large experience with this valve and can be reached at Mt Sinai; phone 212-241-6500 and ask for the office of either doctor.
