A doctor has provided 1 answer

4: 4 cardiac valves. 2 atrioventricular and 2 ventriculoarterial. 2 on the right heart 2 on the left heart. Each ventricle has an atrioventricular and a ventriculoarterial valve. They are one way valves. Flow is venae cavae to right atrium, RA to right ventricle via right av valve or tricuspid, rv to pulmonaryartery via pulmonic valve-lungs-left atrium-mitral valve-left ventricle-aortic valve- aorta.
