Depends on method: Moles can be removed by shave or saucerization and the wound is allowed to heal, sort of like a scraped knee. Another method is to cut deeper and then close the wound with stitiches. With the shave/saucer method it can take several days to up to a month to heal. With stitches, they are usually removed 10-14 days after removal. In either case, it takes about a year for scar to get to its best.
