See medical provider: You may have tonsil or posterior throat infection. Most likely viral but you should see Medical provider soon since you are having shortness of breath and your immune system is already weakened from diabetes and thyroid disease. You are at greater risk of developing lung infection than no diabetic 18 year old. Watch foR spiking in your sugar

See your doctor: You need to see your doctor right away or go to an urgent care. Your throat could be infected and diabetics need to be very careful to treat infections as soon as possible. Having trouble breathing is also a serious condition and needs to be diagnosed and treated as soon as possible. Please see a doctor today.
