A member asked:

Is it normal after a severe gallbladder attack to have tender soreness in chest and adominals for 4 days after? going to doc wednesday.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not typical: It's not a usual complaint, but if you had severe nausea and vomiting that could account for some muscle soreness. I suggest, while waiting for your appt., that you stay well hydrated, and eat a low fat diet. Eschew nuts, deli meats, dairy, and snack foods. Low fat dairy, pretzels, sherbet are good choices, and use low fat salad dressing. Good luck.
