See below: It is likely that most if not all of the hairs that grew after starting minoxidil will fall out at some point after you stop the medicine. This is because minoxidil was regulating a hormone responsible for male-pattern baldness. The hairs existing prior to starting treatment won't fall out because you stopped the medicine but some may fall out because of the progression of the baldness condition.
