Yes. : The rotator cuff is comprised of four muscles that function to lift the arm above the shoulder and help to externally and internally rotate the arm. One way of testing the rotator cuff is to hold the arm out and see if it falls. It's called the drop arm test and helps to ascertain the integrity of the muscles.
