I know stimulant laxatives even laxatives in general have cautions against chronic use. is it okay to take senokot (senna) one day each week? if not, 1d/2wk?

Use with caution!: If you frequently use laxatives for weeks or months, they can decrease your colon's ability to contract and actually worsen constipation. You can use it 1/2 weeks, however, it is important to take this medication exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
