It depends...: ...on: 1) what the histology was of the small bowel polyps; 2) whether there is a strong family history of gastrointestinal cancer; 3) how your small bowel polyps were treated; 4) what other tests may be planned/recommended to you based on your findings.

I had a CT Scan with contrast done recently on my abdomen and pelvis. The abdominal wall was unremarkable and no distended bowel loops on the GI tract section of the report. Would this CT show abnormalities if there were polyps in the GI tract?
