A doctor has provided 1 answer

Remove: precancerous polyp means that lesion has been identified by a scope and biopsied. Precancerous polyps will almost always lead to malignancy and many of these SB lesions do not have stalks and require area of bowel resection to remove. One should be sure there is no genetic disposition such as Gardners syndrome where there is a familial history and other lesion such as desmoids and more polyps
