Anytime hemorrhoids: Hemorrhoids can occur at anytime due to dilated blood vessels in the anal canal. It can occur commonly during mid to late pregnancy due to the pressure of the fetus causing blood to "backup" in the anal veins. It is unlikely the hemorrhoids occurred just before conception except coincidentally.
