A member asked:

My newborn baby cries a lot and is very fussy. could that be due to my anxiety disorder during my pregnancy?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Babies in utero are very sensitive to their environment and the amount of circulating epinephrine triggered by the anxiety. This is also fundamentally true after delivery and child raising as children of anxious parents tend to have more anxiety related and aberrational behaviors then those whose parents are "calmer" and more centered.
