Protein and Exercise: This is a good question. Protein shakes help you build muscle when you are actively participating in a weight training program. Pre-workout these should probably include good sources of electrolytes and some carbs so that you can get the immediate energy to burn while you push yourself to the limits of muscle fatigue.
