A member asked:

What type of water should be used when washing a wound caused by a sea animal's sting?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Jellyfish sting: Remove stingers by rinsing with seawater. Hot showers and ice packs can help relieve the pain. Avoid using urine, meat tenderizer, solvents such as ethanol, formalin or gasoline as these are unhelpful.
