Yes: Kittens have pretty sharp claws and it takes a few days for the top layer of your skin to heal. Keep a little vaseline on them to prevent the edges of the skin from drying out. Most wounds heal in 5-7 days. If over the next few weeks you get fever, body aches, join pains or lymph nodes along your elbow/armpit be sure to remember to tell your MD you had a kitten scratch recently.
