Yes: It is a two fold filler. Nearly 80% is collagen and therefore it is recommended to be skin tested prior to injection. This portion will eventually become absorbed over a3-6 month period. The remaining 20% consists of polymthylnethacrylate bead like particles that achieve permanent fullness. The risks, alternatives and benefits should be discussed with your treating physician.
