Permanent filler: Artefill is a dermal filler, like Restylane (dermal fillers) or juvederm. Unlike the other two products, artefill is a permanent filler and cannot be reversed, so it be must used be an experienced injector. There is a small risk of allergic reaction as well, so a skin test is generally needed before the injection can occur.

Collagen stimulator: Artefill is animal collagen with microscopic particles of a product called pmma. As the injected collagen wears off, the pmma stimulates production of your own collagen to replace it. Unlike most fillers that wear off, the results from artefill can be permanent.
