A member asked:

Would drinking water help my iron levels?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Why do you ask? Low iron levels require that (1) you find the cause, and (2) you replace the iron. Low iron levels in middle age are worrisome for cancer, ulcer, hookworm, etc.; I trust that ill-advised vegetarianism is not the cause. Once the cause is identified, your physician will advise you on replacement. Insist on a full explanation of your situation.
