What site do you use to determine the pulse of a 5-year-old?

Wherever: A pulse at any age can be taken wherever you can feel it. A 5 yo can easily be felt at the wrist, but a carotid (neck), dorsalis pedis (top of foot) , inguinal, or brachial pulse would all be the same. The ability to use these sites depends on the skill of the examiner.
