NO: Health insurance should cover mental health services because most states have parity laws. But insurance dependents on premiums, benefits and exclusions. Mental health services run a wide diagnostic and clinical interventions which many components my not be covered. The devil is in the definitions of exclusions. Must read the policy. Dr. Kirsh

Insurance: Insurance programs usually tend to have built in mental health benefits. And if they do not, the person should immediately look into finding better insurance!
