Fat= fat: excess fat in the form of excess calories will get stored in the body as fat. If you had a high protein low fat diet, but the calories were more than you needed, it would eventually get stored as fat. If you have excess fat, in your diet but not excess calories, your body would breakdown the fat to try to rebuild it as glucose to run the body.
