Chemical menopause: Zoladex (goserelin) 3.6 mg implanted every 28 days will put a woman chemically into menopause and make her menstrual periods stop. In fact, about 2 weeks after the first implant there will be a hormone withdrawal bleeding, after the next implant there will be no bleeding, if the medication works perfectly.
