A member asked:

I'm 18, my endometriosis reactivated, already had one surgery. one doctor wants to prescribe zoladex (goserelin) the other surgery. what should i choose?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Surgery: Endometriosis is a surgically treated disease. However the correct surgery is crucial. Excision of endo and not cautery or laser is the correct approach. Also important to rule out other causes of pain since endo is often not the direct cause of a woman's pain. You need to see someone who is highly experienced in endometriosis and pelvic pain. Good luck.
