Dont exceed 100ng/mL: There's not necessarily a hard & fast rule regarding specific amount or dose for everyone. Most will do fine w/1,000-2,000 units D3 daily. Some take 50,000 units D2 weekly for a while. More important to check 25OH D levels, not 1,25 diOH D. Most labs use 100ng/mL as upper limit of normal. Anything over 30ng/mL should be fine, altho some push for more, say 50-70ng/mL but there's no outcome evidence
