Yes and no: There are two major sources of ionizing radiation (the bad radiation). Radioactive isotopes and x-rays (cosmic and gamma rays are equivalent to x-rays). x-rays do not stay in an animal. Radioactive isotopes can accumulate in an animal which would then make then a source of gamma rays. The likelihood of an animal ingesting a large dose of isotopes is almost zero.
