Who qualifies for invisalign?

That depends: Regular braces are attached to your teeth. They are harder to clean but you don't have to worry about losing them. Invisalign is removable. This makes cleaning your teeth easier, but if you lose them or forget to put them in they will not work. So which is better partially depends on the patient's personally. Also regular braces can correct some conditions that invisalign can not.

Depends: See your Orthodontist for full evaluation to determine the cause and degree of your problem. Only then can the determination be made if invisalign will be suitable for you. Often a combination is most effective. Good Luck.

See your dentist: or orthodontist. Only your dentist or orthodontist will be able to tell you whether or not you qualify for invisalign treatment. Getting Invisalign can be a big commitment of time, money and effort. See your dentist for consultation and proper assessment.

Based on case: Invisalign is great for certain case types (e.g., closing gaps) and typically works best in mild to moderate, but not extreme cases. Whether Invisalign is a good option can only be determined when a reliable & ethical orthodontist (by this I mean do go to a prefered provider, but avoid Invisalign only shops as they see every square peg fitting that round hole) determines they can get great result

Diagnostic criteria: Invisalign is helpful in reducing many malocclusions, but are not the equivalent of braces. Braces can do more, but Invisalign more esthetic. Orthodontist more skilled than GP, yet both charge about the same. Best advice: See a fully qualified Orthodontic Specialist (initial exam usually free) to determine the best course of treatment to resolve your unique problems.
