Need info on what's good for an earache?

Depends on earache,: external, middle ear, mastoiditis, etc. Throat pain commonly also (occasionally only) felt in ear area; called referred pain. Treatment for external ear canal otitis different from middle ear otitis. Both: (a) study anatomy & (b) get exam from someone worthy of your trust who will show you & help you understand the issues. Unable to much better than this from a distance.

Earache. Have no olive oil, just vegetable oil can this be used? Have used paracetamol but no good yet.
