Why home remedy?: Why a home remedy? If you don't know how to cure this pain, you most likely are unsure of the actual cause. Suggest you see an ENT to diagnose the cause and offer a cure. Better than leaving it alone or searching for a home remedy. Just get seen and get it fixed.

Depends on the cause: There are many reasons for earaches. If it is "swimmer's ear" hydrogen peroxide & colloidal silver in the ear can help.
