Occasionally when i am making a bowel movement, if i am even slightly constipated i will begin drooling profusely.is that normal?

Not normal: BUT entirely possible. Seems normal for you. The gut is one long tube that talks to the brain and to itself. If there is a problem in one segment of the gut thee is sometimes reflex feedback to other parts of the gut that can induce symptoms such as you describe.
