I frequenly wash hands & recently diagnosed with strep.if my husband is the carrier & gave it to me through kissing, how isn't he ill & can he get tx?

Great question: yes your are correct. some are "carriers" of strep and are asymptomatic (no symptoms). that being said you do not know if he is a carrier unless he had a strep test. I would also argue that household pets may be potential strep carriers. specifically dogs. this is my theory. I have asked vets over the years but never have good answer one way or another. good luck to you.
