Depends: Depending on the amount of mucous produced by your cervix and how long the blood has been in the vaginal vault, blood from a period can have many different consistencies. However, an exam by a GYN doctor would be best to diagnose your problem, which really might not be a problem at all as long as you dont have itching/malodor.
