I started my period on 23 september, which ended after 5 days. today, i started to bleed again (with some mucus texture coming out) on the 15th day. should i be worried?

It happens sometimes: Many women have occasional variation of mucus discharge, some spotting between periods, a heavier or lighter period, a longer or shorter period, or even a missed period. Having one or two of these symptoms doesn’t necessarily mean there is a medical problem, but a visit to one’s doctor is a good idea if symptoms are persistent, recurring, or worrisome. Be sure Pap's and vaginal exams are normal.
