My partner has just found two red hard lumps under each of his armpits, what could this mean? (he is male, 19, healthy)

Lumps in arm pits: This very common situation means that the patient may have reacted to either bacteria or fungus on his deodorant or something else that has come in contact there. Other possibilities are an allergic reaction to any product used in the under arm. Most people get better by stopping the exposure for a time. If the sores get bigger or warmer or have any abscess he will need to be seen.
