My father ate a fruit which was already bitten by an animal. is there a chance that he will be infected by rabies if it was a bat that bit the fruit?

Very unlikely: I guess anything is possible but usually u need to actually be bitten to get the virus. Unfortunately sometimes people don't realize they've been bitten. There are only 3 cases of rabies per year in the US; he'll probably be just fine.
