Chronic headache: If you are dealing with every day headache, after physical and labs were negative. You might want to talk to your doctor for prophylactic treatment. The medicines used for prophylactic treatment may be from one among several classes whichever one works for you. That will reduce the frequency and intensity of the headache. Use the midrin only for abortive treatment for severe headache

Advice: I gather you use the Midrin when a headache strikes, but has your doctor tried to prevent the headaches instead? Some OTC remedies might be of great benefit and most are very affordable, such as Butterbur, Feverfew, magnesium, riboflavin, even CoQ-10. Maybe you would be best served by Virtual Consult here on site.
